Found new apartment

Finally found a new apartment. Closest neighbour: the Iranian Embassy. Yesterda on the evening news I saw my new apt in the background of a demonstration full of irate iranians. Bodes well:) Other than random demos, street appears quiet. Tram is just outside. Walking distance to the Frogner and Skøyen area, which provide a selection of super markets, bars, restaurants, and various entertainment. A bit further down the street is the King’s hangout.

Apart from some really annoying and troublesome hassles with DnB NOR when setting up my security deposit, things are working out fine. Swooshing back over the mountain at the end of this week to collect my wordly belonings and ship them over here.

The great thing about settling somewhere new and unfamiliar (well, it’s not really that new, and certainly not all that unfamiliar), is that you get to acquire new habits. Anything from simple things, such as where you wine & dine and where you hang out, to what to fill your evenings and weekends with. As always, I realize that the least plastic part of my existence are my habits. Perhaps it’s time to change a few?
